Phillips 66 | Slamulator

Backed by the success of Flip Like Ozzie – our 2018 activation for Phillips 66 honoring Ozzie Smith’s famous backflip – Carmichael Lynch asked us to up the ante for the 2019 Big 12 Championship in Kansas City.

The building blocks were the same: a camera, a green screen, Pixel Farm’s custom capture and VFX software, a giant tent, and lots and lots of people! To take it up a notch, we added slow motion capture, an extra camera angle to film people’s dunk faces, and a separate celebratory pose to cap things off. The result was pure Slamulator magic. More than 1300 people participated over three days of the event, receiving and sharing their very own video keepsake, and proving that they had indeed been SLAMULATED!
